Home again!

It’s been a very long time since I last posted! I have learned that I am not a very good blogger and that it takes a whole lot of time. I admire all those that are good bloggers and I enjoy reading your posts. I am much better at reading them then writing them! My Macau blog is officially closed  as I have returned from the greatest adventure of my life. I am so grateful to have had the experience of living in Macau and my travels throughout Asia. I am also grateful for the little “souvenir” I brought back. Harry was born last August and we like to refer to him as “made in China baby”.  He is such a positive force in my life and I hope the happiness I am experiencing as a new mom (again) will contribute as positively  to my work.

We are back in Charleston South Carolina. After a few months hiatus I am thrilled to be back in my studio! I am sharing this new painting which is so hot off the press that I don’t even know if it’s finished yet! It’s the first of several paintings that I have been wanting to paint for some time. Surely being back in the sunny southeast has inspired this new brighter palette. I am spending time looking at some of my favorite painters and experimenting with some new ideas.

Thanks again for checking out my work!
