Red Market

This painting was inspired by an area in Macau referred to as Red Market. I have to admit I have never actually been inside the “Red Market” building do to my  squeamishness and  years of vegetarianism..( lots of fresh meat apparently) but the area around the market is bustling with activity!  It can sometimes be overwhelming especially on weekends and holidays when all the shoppers are out but it will be sure to wake up all your senses…at once! When I did this painting/ collage I was trying to capture all the vibrant hustle and bustle of this unique area of Macau.
